We have increased our rates slightly due to increasing operating costs effective September 1st, 2009. Guests who reserved their stay under the previous rate will have that rate honored.

2 bedrooms - $125/night
3 bedrooms - $150/night

General History

The Old Place was established circa 1780 to 1801 and is a pre-civil war cabin totally reconstructed. Lots of civil war history and great artifacts. Located just a 10th of a mile off the main road. The cabin has two sections to include kitchen, great room, 3 bedrooms, two large stone fireplaces with gas logs, 2 1/2 baths (whirlpool in master bath). There is a large front porch and a screened back porch. Secluded, quiet and peaceful with several hiking trails.
